On entering Rose Cottage, the atmosphere is immediately one of warmth and homeliness. As one of the smallest care homes in the county, there is not the hustle and bustle found with large homes.
An ethos of informality between staff, clients, and their families means community and friendship is created. Visitors feel at home.
Our true ‘home from Home’ environment lends itself to friendship and care allowing clients the security and comfort that they seek. It does not feel like one is in a Care Home setting and this is most reassuring.
Rose Cottage a listed building lies in the heart of Thornton Village. Thornton is historically associated with the being the birthplace of the Bronte sisters Charlotte, Emily and Anne.
